“ Amazing staff helped me with a gluten and lactose free meal, even going out of their way to add an extra dish with no gluten for me. They even had gluten free bread for the table. Food was delicious, staff amazing, and a huge meal for 2 for less than 25 euro. Will be back next time! ”

“ We happened upon this quaint bar/caffè along the Scalinata Acquedotto medievale di piazza Garibaldi. We spent a mild spring evening dining al fresco on an aperitivo platter for two filled with a delicious variety of cheeses, meats, bruschetta and olives. The staff were attentive and friendly. We were surrounded by a mix of fellow expats from Ireland and North America as well as the lovely local folks. Highly recommended! ”

“ I stayed in Sulmona for five weeks I often go for breakfast and aperitivo. It has a nice relaxed and casual environment. They played great music during the evening hours. While I was there I got to know most of the staff very well especially the night shift. I gave four stars because this waitress ( she’s kind of chubby compared to the rest of the girls. She also speaks better English than the rest. She’s there most of the time.)that works in the morning shift wasn’t as friendly, she had an attitude towards me every time I go there. Because of her I stopped going for breakfast. All the girls that served me were nice and friendly. I plan to go back to Sulmona in six more because I have a home there.When I go back for breakfast I hope she gives a better service. ”
